For practical examinations the student needs a Trinity Guildhall examination book which contains the pieces and exercises needed for the chosen grade.  Partner books are used in conjunction with the Trinity Guildhall books and contain not only the scales and arpeggios, but also lots of teaching examples of the four supporting tests.  The student needs to choose two supporting tests for their examination.  Trinity Guildhall only supplies individual books for each individual test, but with these partner books students have the opportunity to try all of the options and to perfect their chosen ones.
